Insurance Carriers We Bill Directly

OCRV Center bills sixteen major carriers directly including Progressive, GEICO, State Farm, AAA SoCal, Mercury, Allstate and Liberty Mutual. Direct billing means one invoice and one point of contact rather than you sitting between a shop and an adjuster for six weeks.

Direct billing sounds administrative and it changes the experience more than almost anything else. The alternative is you fronting money, chasing reimbursement and relaying technical arguments between two parties who should be talking to each other.

We are not in every carrier network and we do not need to be. Network status affects paperwork speed. It does not affect whether a carrier pays a covered claim at a facility you chose.

Which carriers do you bill directly?

Progressive, GEICO, State Farm, AAA SoCal, AAA Enterprises, Mercury, Allstate, American Family, Wawanesa, National General, CSAA, Foremost, Liberty Mutual, Tesla, Cincinnati and AGWS, among others.

If yours is not listed, it almost certainly still works. Direct billing arrangements exist with most carriers writing recreational and commercial vehicle policies in California, and where one does not, the claim proceeds normally with the carrier paying against our invoice.

What is a direct repair program and should I care?

A direct repair program is a pre agreed arrangement between a carrier and a shop covering rates, procedures and paperwork. Its genuine benefit is speed, because the administrative path is already negotiated.

Its structural weakness is worth knowing. A shop dependent on carrier referral volume has a reason not to fight a low estimate. We hold direct repair relationships on select carriers and we write supplements with evidence regardless, which is the part that actually matters to the person owning the vehicle.

Do insurance jobs cost the same as customer pay?

The labor hours are identical. The rate applied to them may not be. Insurance billed work may be billed at carrier negotiated labor rates that differ from our posted retail rates of $210 for body and paint, $260 for mechanical and electrical, $285 for diagnostics and $95 for detail.

What does not change is scope. We do not perform a smaller repair because a rate is lower, which is precisely why supplements exist and why they carry evidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

My carrier is not on your list. Is that a problem?

Almost never. Direct billing exists with most carriers writing these policies in California, and where it does not, the claim proceeds normally with the carrier paying against our invoice.

Are you in my insurance company network?

We hold direct repair relationships on select carriers. Network status affects paperwork speed, not whether a covered claim gets paid at the facility you chose.

Do I still pay my deductible if you bill the carrier directly?

Yes. The deductible is your contractual contribution to the same invoice. The carrier pays its portion and you pay the deductible at the repair.

Can you bill two carriers on one job?

Where a loss genuinely involves two claims, yes, and we keep the documentation separated so neither carrier is billed for the other scope.
