Commercial and Heavy Vehicle Body Repair in Yorba Linda

Commercial vehicle work here covers cab body repair, box and cargo body work, full refinish, structural correction and equipment installation. Collision repair runs $1,500 to $50,000 and up at 10 to 250 labor hours. We do body, paint and structural work only, not engine or drivetrain.

Commercial vehicles come in for two reasons. Something hit them, or something needs mounting to them. Both are body shop work and neither requires touching the drivetrain.

On commercial and fleet vehicles we perform body, paint, structural and equipment installation only. We do not perform engine work, drivetrain work or DOT inspections. On a unit needing both mechanical and body work you will be dealing with two suppliers, and it is better to know that before booking.

What commercial work do you actually do?

Cab body repair covering doors, hoods, fenders and bumpers at $750 to $12,000. Full refinish and repaint at $5,000 to $30,000. Box and cargo body repair in aluminum and composite at $750 to $15,000. Structural correction and frame straightening. And equipment installation covering lift gates, service bodies, toolboxes, cranes and lighting.

Fleet graphics and vinyl wrap at $1,500 to $9,500, plus DOT reflective tape and compliance marking at $250 to $1,200. Rebranding across a fleet is routine and bundling it with refinish is genuinely cheaper because masking and booth time are shared.

How is cab damage different from box damage?

They are separate repairs on separate structures and we estimate them separately. A cab is a conventional body repair on a body on frame vehicle. A box is a panelised structure attached to the chassis, and it fails at joints, corners and door openings rather than in the middle of a panel.

That distinction matters on an insurance claim, because a carrier writing a single figure for damage across both is usually undercounting one of them.

What about downtime on a working truck?

One to four weeks for body and paint depending on scope, longer where structure is involved. On a fleet we stage work so you never lose every unit at once, and each unit returns to service as it completes rather than being held for a batch.

The practical planning advice is to give us the operating constraint at first contact. How many units you need running decides the whole schedule.

Our Process and Timeline

Shop hours and calendar days are different things. These are the stages and the realistic duration of each.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you do engine or drivetrain work on commercial trucks?

No. Body, paint, structural and equipment installation only. No engine work, no drivetrain work, no DOT inspections.

How much does commercial truck collision repair cost?

$1,500 to $50,000 and up at 10 to 250 labor hours at our posted $210 per hour body and paint rate. Cab body repair alone runs $750 to $12,000.

Can you handle a whole fleet rebrand?

Yes, staged so you keep operating. Graphics run $1,500 to $9,500 per unit and bundling with refinish is cheaper because masking and booth time are shared.

Do you work with purchase orders?

Yes. Each unit is estimated and invoiced separately so it tracks against its own PO and cost centre.
