About OCRV Center
Do you charge for an estimate?
Yes. An RV systems evaluation is $150 and a diagnostic assessment is $285 per hour with a one hour minimum. Both are refundable as a credit against an authorized repair, so proceeding customers effectively pay nothing for it.
What are your labor rates?
Body and paint $210 per hour, mechanical and electrical $260 per hour, diagnostics and programming $285 per hour, detail $95 per hour. Rates updated January 2026 and published in full on the prices page.
What is the largest vehicle you can take?
Two 65 foot by 20 foot downdraft booths inside a 35,000 square foot facility. Full length Class A coaches, fifth wheels, conversion coaches and commercial trucks all fit.
Do you work on vehicles at my location?
No. Every job is performed at the Yorba Linda facility. Structural work needs anchored equipment on a floor that does not move and refinishing needs booth extraction and controlled temperature.
Do you do engine or drivetrain work?
On RVs we handle house systems: electrical, plumbing, appliances and generators. On commercial and fleet vehicles we perform body, paint, structural and equipment installation only. No engine work, no drivetrain work, no DOT inspections.
How long will my repair take?
A panel repair is days. A structural or laminate repair is weeks. A full body paint is four to eight weeks. On a claim, carrier approval and parts lead time usually consume more calendar than the work does.
Do you handle insurance claims?
Daily, with all major carriers. We are not a direct repair programme shop, which means our documented scope is written for the repair the vehicle needs rather than to a carrier volume agreement.
Why does almost every RV claim need a supplement?
Because a laminated structure hides most of the damage. An impact denting two feet of sidewall frequently delaminates six, and none of it is visible until the panel is opened. Supplements exist to correct exactly that.
Do you need a deposit?
On repairs over $2,000 a 50 percent deposit applies, with an additional 25 percent where parts exceed $10,000. Card payments over $1,000 carry a 3.5 percent surcharge.
Can you repair a vehicle whose parts are discontinued?
Usually yes. We mould fiberglass cap and panel sections in house from the surviving side of the vehicle or a donor pattern, and we form aluminum panels here. Discontinued means fabricated, not unrepairable.
What are your hours and where are you?
23281 La Palma Ave, Yorba Linda, CA 92887. Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, closed Sunday. Call (949) 799-3387.
Are you a dealer for any RV brand?
No. We are an independent collision and repair facility. We repair every brand and represent none of them, which is why we will tell you when a dealer is the better choice for a particular job.
Repairs, Costs and Claims
How much does RV collision repair cost in Yorba Linda?
Between $1,000 and $150,000 or more, at 5 to 800 or more labor hours. Our posted body and paint rate is $210 per hour with paint supplies at $55 per paint hour. Minor impacts cluster around $1,000 to $5,000, moderate damage around $5,000 to $20,000, and structural work starts near $20,000. Every figure is labor hours times a posted rate.
Do you work directly with insurance companies?
Yes. We bill Progressive, GEICO, State Farm, AAA SoCal, Mercury, Allstate, Liberty Mutual, Wawanesa, Foremost, National General, CSAA, American Family, Tesla, Cincinnati and others directly, and we handle the adjuster communication so you do not have to.
Why did my estimate go up after teardown?
An initial estimate is written from visible damage. Teardown exposes what the impact actually did underneath, which on a laminated RV sidewall is routinely far more than what shows. A supplement documents the new findings with photographs and measurements and goes to your carrier for approval before that work is performed.
Do you offer mobile or on site repair?
No. All work is performed at our Yorba Linda facility. Structural repair, refinishing and LP work need anchored equipment, controlled temperature and a floor that does not move, none of which exists in a parking lot.
What does an estimate cost?
Collision estimates are prepared in shop and insurance walk ins are welcome. An RV systems estimate covering slides, awnings, water, electrical and generators is $150. An in depth diagnostic is one hour at $285. Both are refundable as a credit against an authorized repair.
Can you handle custom camper van builds and modifications?
Yes, and we document them properly. Solar arrays, lithium banks, cabinetry and roof racks are photographed and itemized at intake, before anything is disassembled. That is the only point in the process where the evidence a carrier needs is still easy to produce.
What types of vehicles do you repair?
RVs and motorhomes, campers, fifth wheels, travel trailers and toy haulers, Sprinter and camper vans, cargo and commercial vans, box trucks and semis, buses and municipal fleet vehicles, Rivian and electric delivery vehicles, mobile business vehicles, and utility and equipment trailers.
Do you work on engines or drivetrains?
No. On commercial trucks and fleet vehicles we perform body, paint, structural and equipment installation only. We do not perform engine work, drivetrain work or DOT inspections.
How long will my vehicle be in the shop?
Most moderate insurance claims run three to six weeks end to end. Structural claims run six to sixteen weeks. Shop hours are usually the smaller part of that. Carrier approval and parts lead time on caps, glass and structural components drive the calendar.
What if my insurance company wants me to use a different shop?
In California you choose the repair facility. A carrier can recommend a shop, it cannot require one. We work directly with every major carrier regardless of network status.
Can you repair a vehicle another shop already worked on?
Yes, and it is a meaningful share of our work. Previous improper repair is measurable. We document the existing condition with a dimensional survey first so there is no ambiguity about what we inherited.
Where exactly are you located?
OCRV Center is at 23281 La Palma Ave, Yorba Linda, CA 92887, minutes from the 91 and 57 freeways with access from Interstate 5 and the 405. Call (949) 799-3387. The yard and bays are sized for a 45 foot coach.
