RV Inspection and Evaluation in Yorba Linda
We perform paid inspections at our Yorba Linda facility, not at your location. An RV systems evaluation is $150 and a full diagnostic assessment is $285 per hour with a one hour minimum. Both are refundable as a credit against an authorized repair.
An inspection is skilled diagnostic work performed by technicians who repair these vehicles every day, and we charge for it. There is no version of this we give away, because the value of the report is exactly the expertise it took to produce.
All inspections are performed at our Yorba Linda facility. Bring the vehicle to us. We do not travel to inspect.
What does an inspection cost and what do I get?
An RV systems evaluation is $150 and covers roof, slides, seals, water, electrical and generator systems, with moisture readings and a written report with photographs. A full diagnostic assessment including scan and programming work is $285 per hour with a one hour minimum.
Both fees are refundable as a credit against an authorized repair, so if you proceed with work the inspection effectively costs nothing. If you do not proceed, you have paid for a professional report you own and can use with a seller, a carrier or another shop.
- RV systems evaluation, $150, refundable as repair credit
- Diagnostic and scan assessment, $285 per hour, one hour minimum, refundable
- Written report with photographs of every finding
- Moisture readings at ceiling, sidewalls and slide floor joints
- Findings separated into urgent, deferrable and cosmetic
- Repair items priced at our posted labor rates
Why do you charge when other shops advertise it differently?
Because an inspection performed properly takes a technician off revenue work for hours, and because a report worth relying on cannot be produced in fifteen minutes in a car park.
A shop that gives an inspection away is either not doing much of one or is recovering the cost inside the repair estimate. We would rather post the fee and post our labor rates, so you can see exactly what you are paying for and what a repair would cost.
Do you inspect at my location?
No. All inspection and evaluation work is performed at our 35,000 square foot Yorba Linda facility, where we have lifts, moisture equipment, scan tools and lighting.
A meaningful inspection needs the vehicle accessible from underneath and on the roof, in controlled light, with equipment. That is a shop environment and there is no substitute for it.

Common Problems and How We Solve Them
I want an inspection but I am not local.
SolutionThe vehicle has to come to Yorba Linda. Customers travel here from across Orange County, Los Angeles County, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego, and there is no substitute for shop equipment.
Another shop offered to look at it for nothing.
SolutionThen either the inspection is superficial or the cost is inside their repair estimate. We post the fee and post the rates so you can see both.
I only want to know about one system.
SolutionThen a targeted diagnostic at $285 per hour is cheaper than a full systems evaluation. Tell us what you actually need to know.
