A travel trailer takes highway wind loading on a flat front cap with no aerodynamic advantage, and every seam on that cap sees it. That is why the front is where these fail.
Everything downstream, the delamination, the soft floor, the rotted lower wall, generally traces back to a seam that let go somewhere above it.
Why does the front cap always fail first?
Because it is the highest pressure surface on the trailer and it has the most seams. The cap meets both sidewalls, the roof and the floor, and each of those joints is sealed rather than structural. Wind pressure works those seams open over years.
Once water is in, it travels down inside the wall by gravity, so the damage you see at the lower wall usually started at the cap. Repairing the lower wall without addressing the cap seam means doing it again.

How do I know if my walls have delaminated?
Press on the sidewall. A sound wall is firm and gives a solid tap. A delaminated wall flexes under hand pressure and sounds hollow, because the fiberglass skin has separated from the substrate behind it.
Bubbling, waviness in reflected light, and dark staining are the visual signs. Tap testing across the whole wall is how we map the actual extent, which is almost always larger than the visible area.
