Entegra Coach Repair in Yorba Linda
OCRV Center repairs Entegra coaches at our Yorba Linda facility. Entegra is Jayco built to a higher specification, with steel and aluminum superstructure, fiberglass exterior and full body paint, on Spartan and Freightliner chassis.
Entegra is the upper end of the Jayco organisation and it is built accordingly. Steel and aluminum superstructure, quality laminated walls, fiberglass caps and full body paint over the whole coach.
For repair purposes that puts Entegra in the same category as Newmar and Tiffin: the structure is sound and the challenge is reproducing an elaborate multi stage finish.
How is an Entegra built?
Welded steel and aluminum superstructure with laminated sidewalls, fiberglass front and rear caps, and full body multi stage paint. Diesel pushers ride on Spartan K2 or Freightliner chassis, and the gas and Super C lines on Ford and Freightliner platforms.
The chassis determines the structural repair approach. A Spartan chassis coach measures against Spartan specification, and a Super C on a Freightliner cab chassis is a different measurement job entirely.

What fails on an Entegra?
Cap sealant joints at the roof and sidewall transitions, as on every large coach. Fiberglass cap stress cracking, particularly at the windshield opening and lower corners.
Then slides, where the recurring issue is opening geometry on multi slide coaches. And clearcoat on older full body paint, which is refinish work rather than repair.

What does Entegra repair cost?
Fiberglass cap repair $750 to $12,000 and up at 4 to 60 hours. Full cap replacement $4,500 to $25,000 and up at 30 to 120 hours. Full body paint $8,500 to $45,000 and up at 60 to 300 hours. Slide service $500 to $8,500 and up.
At our posted $210 per hour body and paint rate with $55 per paint hour materials and 7.75 percent sales tax on parts and materials only.

Common Problems and How We Solve Them
A previous paint repair on my Anthem does not match.
SolutionMulti stage schemes cannot be matched panel local. We blend into adjacent panels and verify with spray out cards before any paint goes on the coach.
My Cornerstone cap is cracked at the windshield corner.
SolutionA common stress point on large fiberglass caps. We repair the laminate rather than filling, because a filled fiberglass crack reopens along the same line.
The bedroom slide binds on my Aspire.
SolutionAlmost always opening geometry. We measure the opening before replacing a mechanism that is being destroyed by a bind.
