A food truck off the road is a restaurant that is shut. A mobile clinic in the shop is a practice that cannot see patients. That is a materially different situation from a car being repaired.

Why does build documentation matter more here than anywhere?
Because the ratio is extreme. A used step van might be worth twenty thousand dollars with a hundred and forty thousand of commercial kitchen in it. If that build is not scheduled on the policy, a total loss pays out on the van.
We photograph and itemise the build at intake before anything is disturbed, which is the last point at which that evidence is easy to produce. Doing it in advance and sending the schedule to your agent is better still.

How fast can you turn a food truck around?
Cosmetic and minor body work in five to twelve business days. Structural work is weeks. We will tell you immediately which one you are in rather than letting you plan around a hope.
Will insurance cover my commercial build out?
Only if it is scheduled. On a mobile business the build routinely exceeds the vehicle value, so this is the single most important thing to get right before a loss.
Do you do mobile business build outs from scratch?
Yes. Interior build out and conversion runs $2,500 to $50,000 and up at 20 to 250 labor hours depending on the fit out.
Do you handle health department or compliance requirements?
We build to the specification you provide and can work to a compliance requirement, but certification and inspection are between you and the relevant authority.
